Day tripping in Clinton ๐๐
Hi everyone! Todayโs post is all about my autumn day trip to Clinton! And the destination is found at the Red Mill Museum Village in historic Clinton. #visitnj #hunterdoncounty #clinton #caplifesmoments
Located in charming Hunterdon County, New Jersey, the town has a quaint and walkable downtown shopping and dining district with plenty of locally owned shops and businesses selling local crafts and handmade products from artisans around NJ and the country and lots of spots to shop, dine, grab a coffee, or have some ice cream! Top reccs: Hit up Red Mill Museum & Village, if youโre history buff or would love to learn more about the history of this enchanting community. โข For coffee, visit The Stone Bean at Riverside Coffee & Tea. โข For the arts, visit the Hunterdon Art Museum.
We are officially at โpeakโ foliage at the beginning of November here in the New Jersey/New York metropolitan area or the Mid-Atlantic region of the country. Definitely take a look at the fall foliage map you can find online by searching โfall foliage peak mapโ and see where the fall foliage is expected to be in your local area (especially if you live in the Northeast). There are so many colors to discover, itโs just mesmerizing. The weather was unseasonably warm with temperatures in the mid to upper 70 degrees Fahrenheit which provided walking weather and incredible opportunities for plenty of photo-ops.
If you use iPhone, make sure to utilize portrait mode since this optimizes the lense on your camera to enhance the overall image quality and closeup feature. One of my favorite go-tos for foliage photography during autumn! Yes, my photos are taken on iPhone. ๐
Walking into Clinton and beautiful river views!
Until next time on my travels! ๐
A friendly reminder for everyone to please stay safe and travel with health and safety in mind as we are still in the midst of a pandemic and doing your part to wear a mask and social distance will help contribute to curve the spread and get the virus under control. Though we live in challenging and uncertain times, we must all remember that there is always a silver ligning and something to learn and grow from. 2020 has been a hard year for all of us, and the only thing we can do to move us forward is remain positive, have optimism, and be kind and compassionate to others. We will get through this! Better days are ahead. Sending lots of love and positivity your way! โบ๏ธ
