Hoboken Italian Festival

Experienced in September 2017

Hey guys! Hello September! This post is all about my recent visit to the Hoboken Italian Festival, "The Madonna Di Martiri" famous for its procession, boat ride, and feast on the waterfront in beautiful Hoboken, New Jersey. There you can find anything from quick service food to bouncy houses, rides, and amusements. Usually located at Frank Sinatra Park, this year it was moved to Fourth Street and extending to First. Views of the Manhattan skyline could be seen from all around. The day was crisp and cool, a casual September evening.

But before showing you all pictures of the feast, I decided to take some pics around Hoboken on my way walking there. Hoboken is a historic Hudson County town located just across the river from New York City. A famous tourist hub now, the city boasts a thriving cuisine and entertainment scene year round. The above picture is the restaurant, Amanda's famous for its fine dining menu and gourmet presentation. A definite recommendation!

These apartments resemble the famous Hudson Street where a single property could sky rocke into the millions. Kinda reminds me of Brooklyn. A classic!

Ok back to the feast! This is of the Hudson riverfront with the skyline glistening during golden hour in the background. Perfect picture time!

A little more background about the feast, it originated in the town of Molfetta, Italy through many generations celebrating the Madonna and even celebrate right in Hoboken every September.
